Graduated from Poltava State Medical University. He completed an internship in psychiatry at the Dnipropetrovs'k Medical Academy (1993-1995, Department of Psychiatry, Professor L. Yurieva). He was trained in transactional analysis and Moreno's psychodrama at the Crimean Medical Institute (1993-1995) at the Department of Psychiatry under Professor O. Korobov. He participated in trainings in transactional analysis and Moreno psychodrama. He worked in psychiatric hospitals in Kropyvnytskyi and Kyiv (1995-1999). He worked as a psychotherapist at the Friendly Clinic for Youth. Researcher in the field of psychedelic psychotherapy (1998-1999).

After studying abroad (Sweden, 1997-1998), he changed his career to public and governmental, and later military communications. After a long career in public communications (NSDCU, MFA, Presidential Administration, Supreme Court, Heroes of Kruty), he returned to practical military psychology and psychiatry. He confirmed the category of psychiatrist at the Shupyk National University of Health.

Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014, he has been an active volunteer for the Defense Forces. In 2022, he was the coordinator of the Foreign Legion of Territorial Defense, and later joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a military psychologist. He served as the head of the department of operational psychological work in the 77th CPC of the "North" Joint Forces Command. Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Together with the psychologists of the 77th CPC and 158th Brigade Combatant Command, he developed the author's protocol of the "Group Combat Psychological Debriefing", 2024, Chernihiv.

He has international scientific publications on military psychology and telepsychiatry: Technology in the Trenches: The impact of evolving technologies on Combat Mental Health, January 13, 2025, Springer Science+Business Media. Two articles are being prepared: Moral Injury Among Ukrainian Soldiers and Combat Psychological Debriefing in Ukraine.

He conducted more than two hundred group combat debriefings with military personnel of military units and subdivisions of the operational command "North" after performing combat missions (2022-2024) and individual consultations with military personnel.
