The director of the Expio center, Vladyslav Matrenytsky, gave a speech "Integrative ketamine-assisted psychotherapy: six years of experience in Ukraine" at the first Symposium on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
The event was organized on 22.09.24 by the Ukrainian Association of Psychedelic Research (UAPD), the Heal Ukraine Trauma Fund (HUT) and the "Lisova Polyana" Veterans' Mental Health and Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" and was intended to serve as a platform for discussing ketamine projects -assisted psychotherapy (CAP), which are planned or already implemented in Ukraine, and facilitate the establishment of connections between key stakeholders.
Objectives of the event:
• Raise Ketamine Awareness and Mental Health Care
• to inform the experts about current Ukrainian projects in the field of CAP
• inform specialists about learning opportunities
• Networking, communication and establishment of cooperation between specialists.
The symposium also took part:

• Dr. Zach Skiles-Hut psychologist, ketamine-assistant psychotherapy expert;
• NEEKA Levy - Hut nurse, a specialist in risk assessment, benefits and methods of reducing damage when using ketamine;
• Ksenia Voznitsyn - Director of the Center for Mental Health and Rehabilitation of the Lisova Polyana Veterans of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
• Vyacheslav Zaika-psychiatrist, narcologist, addictist, psychiatrods "Center for Mental Health and Rehabilitation of Veterans" Lissova Polyana "of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine";
• Participants in the program of the training program on ketamine-assistant psychotherapy Hut-KAP.
