Stress and its consequences

We treat any psychosomatic illnesses, including psychosomatic diseases:

Consequences of chronic stress

  • Scientific evidence confirms that chronic stress has a large-scale negative impact on health and quality of life.

  • Scientists suggest that stress is a factor in the development of up to 10,000 diseases and more than 100,000 symptoms.

  • According to Professor Paul Roche (director of the American Institute of Stress), 75% to 90% of visits to doctors are related to stress disorders.

  • Up to 30% of women with chronic stress have fertility problems.

The social nature of stress

  • In today's world, stress is more often socially than physically based.

  • The state of the body becomes an indicator of psycho-emotional stress, but most people do not associate poor health with stress.

  • Common symptoms that are often ignored or considered "normal":

    • headache,

    • insomnia,

    • digestive disorders,

    • frequent colds,

    • fatigue,

    • irritability,

    • dependence on stimulants (coffee, nicotine) or relaxants (alcohol, tranquilizers).

Psychological sources of stress

The root causes of stress
  1. Untreated mental trauma caused by:

    • the loss of loved ones,

    • divorce,

    • dismissal,

    • loss of property or finances.

  2. Chronic conflicts, in particular:

    • family problems,

    • unsatisfactory performance,

    • problems with management,

    • loss of the meaning of life.

The mechanism of psychosomatic development
  • People suppress or displace negative emotions without realizing the level of internal tension.

  • This often manifests itself as:

    • suppressed aggression,

    • emotional breakdowns,

    • anxiety,

    • Fears,

    • background anger.

  • As a result, biological resources are depleted, the ability to adapt deteriorates, and an imbalance in the functioning of organs and systems occurs, which creates prerequisites for diseases (neuroses, depression, psychosomatics).

According to Vladyslav Matrenytskyi, director of the Expio Center, prolonged mental stress can even lead to the development of cancer.
