Neurohelp brain rehabilitation program for mental disorders, encephalopathy and other consequences of chronic stress
How to prevent cognitive impairment, encephalopathy, and dementia?

Today, more and more people are facing cognitive impairment, decreased attention, memory, and performance. Discirculatory encephalopathy (DEP), a chronic brain damage caused by vascular insufficiency, is often diagnosed.

Previously, DED was considered an age-related disease, but today it is detected in middle-aged and even young people. Without timely intervention, it can progress to organic encephalopathy and dementia, including Alzheimer's disease.

Symptoms of vascular disorders of the brain
  • fluctuations in blood pressure

  • impaired memory, attention, thinking

  • headache, feeling of a "heavy" or "foreign" head

  • sleep disorders

  • dizziness, unsteadiness of gait

  • weakness, tinnitus

  • depression, anxiety, emotional instability

  • rapid fatigue, especially in the legs

  • hearing or vision loss

Causes of development

The classic reasons include:

  • arterial hypertension

  • atherosclerosis

  • diseases of the spine

  • metabolic disorders

However, a key factor that is often underestimated is chronic psychoemotional stress. It triggers a cascade of neuroendocrine reactions that damage the brain:

  • Stress hormones (cortisol, adrenaline) destroy neurons

  • vascular spasm occurs, blood supply decreases

  • insulin resistance, hypertension, and atherosclerosis develop

  • increased risk of stroke, dementia, and depression

According to research, 20% of patients with anxiety or depressive disorders have severe cognitive impairment.

New challenges: COVID-19 and the brain

Scientists from Oxford and Cambridge have found that more than 80% of patients with COVID-19 have neurological symptoms: encephalopathy, strokes, anxiety and depression disorders. One in five people experience anxiety, insomnia, or depression for the first time within three months of the disease. COVID-19 has also been linked to an increased risk of dementia.

What we offer: "Neurohelp" brain rehabilitation program

On the basis of the Institute of Gerontology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, using many years of experience and modern approaches, Expio specialists have developed an intensive program called Neurohelp to restore brain activity in cognitive and emotional disorders.

The program lasts 5 days and includes:
It is recommended to take 2-3 blocks (depending on the patient's condition)

The cost of one unit is UAH 13,000.

Diagnosis: the first step to recovery

If you have symptoms but have not yet been examined, we recommend a comprehensive neurological diagnosis, which includes:

  • Electroencephalography (EEG) - assessment of electrical activity of the brain

  • Evoked potentials - the study of the passage of signals between the senses and the brain

  • Neuropsychological diagnostics - analysis of memory, attention, thinking, mental state

⏱ Duration of the examination: 1.5-3 hours
💳 Cost: 1300 UAH

📌 We also recommend an MRI of the brain (it is possible to undergo it at the institute).
