Mesodiencephalic modulation (MDM)

What is the MDM?

Mesodiencephalic modulation is a modern modification of transcranial therapy that selectively normalizes the functioning of the neuroendocrine centers of the brain, improving the state of the neuroendocrine-immune complex.

How it works

The method uses electrical signals with programmable variable characteristics that affect the mesodiencephalic area of the brain, the center of regulation of adaptive processes.

This ensures:

  • Systemic modulation of stress reactions

  • Effects on the opioid and hypothalamic-pituitary systems

  • Stimulation of mechanisms of rapid and long-term adaptation

Mental health concept

History of the method

The method was developed in the 1980s at the Emergency Therapy Clinic of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Care under the direction of Academician A.P. Golikov. For more than 15 years, its effectiveness has been studied by leading scientific institutions.

Key effects of MDM

🔹 1. Powerful anti-stress effect
  • Effective in acute conditions, injuries, disasters

  • Increases stress resistance during operations, exacerbations of chronic diseases

  • Reduces the effects of chronic stress in depression, neurosis, asthenia

🔹 2. Stimulation of reparative processes (1.5-2×)
  • Faster wound healing, scarring of ulcers, formation of bone callus

  • Recovery from burns, heart attacks, surgical interventions

  • Accelerating tissue regeneration without medication

🔹 3. Pain relief
  • Reducing the need for analgesics by 40-60%

  • In some cases, a complete rejection of painkillers

🔹 4. Prevention of complications
  • Reducing their frequency and severity by 30-90% with:

    • Injuries, burns

    • Myocardial infarctions

    • Pneumonia, poisoning

    • Renal and hepatic insufficiency

🔹 5. Improving the quality of life
  • Reduction of disability after serious conditions by 20-50%

  • Fewer complications in the long term(by 20-70%)

  • Improving vitality even in patients with several chronic diseases

🔹 6. Prevention of exacerbations of chronic diseases

Effective for:

  • Hypertension

  • Bronchial asthma

  • Peptic ulcer disease

  • Arthritis

  • Diabetes mellitus

🔹 7. Strengthening the effect of medicines
  • The effects of drugs can be enhanced 2-3 times

  • Reduction of side effects and allergic reactions by up to 10 times

  • Significant reduction in dosage

🔹 8. Reducing the need for medications
  • By 30-50%, in some cases - a complete failure
    (peptic ulcer, sciatica, osteochondrosis, neurodermatitis)

🔹 9. High effectiveness in elderly patients
  • Especially important in case of polymorbidity (several diseases)

  • An alternative to medicines in case of intolerance

Mesodiencephalic modulation is a non-pharmacological, scientifically based and multifunctional therapy that combines anti-stress, analgesic, regenerative and adaptive effects. It is effective in both complex treatment and disease prevention, improves the quality of life of patients, reduces dependence on medications, and reduces the risk of complications.
