We apply a wide variety of advanced methods to treat patients. However, the central link in all our programs is psychotherapy, since the initial cause of all diseases is in the human psyche (explained Here). Therefore, we do not use other methods without psychotherapy.
Our methods:
Psychotherapy.
1. Classical, short-term and transpersonal psychotherapy, psychological testing and counseling, hypnotherapy and hypnoanalysis, sensorimotor psychosynthesis by V. V. Kucherenko, emotional-figurative therapy by N. Linde, the method of K. and S. Simontonov, the MTTM method by V. E. Svetoch, symbolic modeling by David Grove, the ideas of New German Medicine by R. Hamer, and others.
Author's developments of the director of the center Expio, Vladislav Matrenitsky, MD, PhD:
– diagnostic technique REPBM (radioesthetic psychobiometry), which allows, using the “road map” of diseases, to determine with high accuracy the areas of the main psychotraumas, intrapersonal conflicts, limiting beliefs and maladaptive behavior patterns of the patient underlying his illness, as well as to find the best ways to eliminate them and restoration of mental harmony. In addition, the technique makes it possible to determine and compose the most effective methods of therapy and rehabilitation for each individual patient, thus providing a personalized, integrative approach.
– psychotherapeutic technique “Healing of life”. The know-how of our program, aimed at eliminating the dominant disease, overcoming the life crisis, finding a new meaning of life and the full disclosure of the patient's potential. We proceed from the fact that all the resources and knowledge for a harmonious and healthy life are in the subconscious of a person, but he simply does not know how to access them. In addition, limiting attitudes learned in childhood and experienced but unhealed psychotraumas and conflicts prevent us from seeing them. Having freed himself from these obstacles and having learned to hear his Essence, a person discovers for himself a new perception of the world and himself in it. As a result, there is harmony between the inner and outer world, which extends to the body, reviving health.
The technique is a synthesis of modern methods of transpersonal and short-term psychotherapy with ancient trance techniques of working with the subconscious. As our Japanese colleague Dr. Kazuo Kuriyama writes, “The human body is endowed with the power of spontaneous healing. In a state of trance, this power is strengthened and the body is freed from the shackles of the mind created by the stresses of the inner and outer world, thereby helping to restore health.”
2. Body-oriented therapy: is designed to recognize and release hidden or repressed stressful experiences imprinted or blocked in the body. The inability of a person to constructively express his needs and emotions leads to chronic overstrain and often becomes a prerequisite for dysfunction of organs and systems. Among the methods of this therapy are both passive - for example, anti-stress massage, and active - grounding, relaxation, free (spontaneous) movement and others.
3. Art therapy: the use of art and creativity to influence the psycho-emotional state of the patient. At an art therapy session, spontaneous creative self-expression of a person takes place, allowing you to know yourself, understand your feelings and begin to trust them. Such classes develop the emotional openness that the patients lack, teach them to act with complete freedom.
Ketamine therapy. Ketamine is a well-known anesthetic that has been used in medicine for anesthesia and pain relief for several decades. However, not so long ago it was found that in microdoses it has a pronounced antidepressant effect. Even a single injection of this drug has a significant and rapid antidepressant effect in patients with persistent depression that is not amenable to other drugs. As you know, traditional antidepressants begin to have an effect only after a few weeks or even months after the start of administration, and in general, their effectiveness has recently been questioned. So, in 2010, the reputable medical journal JAMA published data that many popular antidepressants work no better than ordinary placebos.
According to Ronald Duman, professor of psychiatry and neuroscience at Yale University, "The discovery of the rapid therapeutic effect of ketamine in the treatment of resistant depression is the biggest breakthrough in the scientific study of depression in the past half century." Learn more...
Therapy with sodium oxybutyrate. Sodium oxybutyrate (OH), like ketamine, is a drug for non-inhalation anesthesia in surgery, obstetrics and gynecology. It is also traditionally used in psychiatric and neurological practice for the treatment of intoxications and traumatic lesions of the central nervous system.
Recently, OH has also been found to be a safe and promising treatment for several diseases such as essential tremor, fibromyalgia, chronic headache, sleep disorders, alcoholism, and eating disorders. The effectiveness of the drug was found in acute psychotic states and neuroses, combined with depression, in anxiety disorders. As a result of the course of treatment, patients become calmer, more contact, psychotherapy is facilitated. A positive effect was obtained in patients who had previously been unsuccessfully treated with antipsychotics and antidepressants. Learn more...
Rehabilitation of the brain "Neurohelp". Today, more and more scientists single out chronic psycho-emotional stress as the cause of the development and decompensation of cerebrovascular insufficiency. Acute and / or chronic psycho-emotional stress (stressful work and / or family situation, sleep disturbance, night work, daily work without rest, work in extreme conditions), triggers a destructive cascade leading to spasm of brain vessels and its poor supply blood, as a result of which various biochemical processes in nerve cells are disturbed. Particularly detrimental to the brain are the main mental consequences of chronic stress - anxiety and depression, which have a negative impact on cognitive functions.
Therefore, for the treatment of mental disorders, it is advisable to prevent and treat cerebrovascular accidents with the help of neurometabolic and neuroprotective drugs that have a positive effect on the metabolism in the brain and activate recovery processes in it. Learn more...
Blockade of the stellate node. The use of stellate ganglion block in the treatment of mental disorders, in particular post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression, is one of the latest innovative techniques that is attracting the attention of the medical world. This method is used to reduce the activity of the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for stress response and mood regulation. Learn more...
Electromagnetic therapy. Constant and variable low-frequency and electric magnetic fields of various parameters, affecting mainly the brain, change its functional state, especially the hypothalamic-pituitary system, with the inclusion of non-specific adaptation mechanisms, anti-stress reactions, stable maintenance of systemic bioadaptive processes by the immune and endocrine organs.
We use four methods depending on the patient's condition:
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a new method of therapeutic brain stimulation based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. An alternating magnetic field has unique properties, in particular, a local effect on brain structures without a wide generalization of currents to adjacent areas of the brain, and a higher penetrating ability through the skin and bone tissue compared to electric current, which makes it possible to more accurately dose the intensity of exposure.
Transcranial magnetic stimulation is an alternative to drug therapy for depression. It allows you to significantly reduce or completely eliminate standard pharmaceuticals and thereby avoid additional chemical burden on the body.
In the process of TMS treatment, the depleted central nervous system is restored in patients, which especially often occurs with depression and manifests itself in asthenia (increased fatigue and irritability, reduced performance, temporary decrease in intellectual functions, emotional instability - tearfulness, capriciousness, etc.). The severity of neurotic symptoms decreases, tension, feelings of anxiety and fear decrease, positive emotions arise.
During the procedure, the patient is conscious, experiences a state of rest, muscle relaxation. And the impact itself does not affect attention and concentration, which makes it possible to drive a car on your own shortly after the procedure.
The practical absence of side effects (some patients have small headaches after the first sessions) and the complete painlessness of the method make it suitable for the treatment of depression even in pregnant women. Learn more...
Transcranial electrical stimulation (micropolarization, TDCS) is a highly effective therapeutic method that allows you to directionally change the functional state of various parts of the central nervous system. TPP successfully combines the simplicity and non-invasiveness of traditional physiotherapy procedures with a fairly high degree of selectivity of exposure.
TDCS can be used both as an independent therapeutic method and as an optimizing technique in the complex treatment of various diseases of the nervous system. The method allows you to improve or restore motor, mental, speech functions, reduce foci of destructive brain damage, improve the psychophysical state in depression and anxiety.
Long-term studies of the Pavlov Institute of Physiology (St. Petersburg) have demonstrated that electrical stimulation of the brain increases immunity, increases the body's resistance to infectious diseases, accelerates the healing of wounds and burns, has a protective effect in case of liver damage by toxic chemicals, leads to the restoration of its structure and function, and also has an inhibitory effect on the development of experimental liver tumors in animals. Mesodiencephalic modulation (MDM) is a modern modification of transcranial therapy, selectively normalizing the work of the neuroendocrine centers of the brain and, thus, the state of the neuroendocrine-immune complex. Based on many years of clinical use, it has been established that MDM therapy has an anti-stress effect in all types of urgent and chronic pathology, stimulates reparative processes by 1.5-2 times, has an analgesic effect, provides prevention of complications, potentiates the effect of most known pharmacological drugs, reducing their consumption. Vagus nerve electrical stimulation – to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which controls the functions of relaxation and rest.
The sympathetic and parasympathetic systems work complementarily. When the body activates the sympathetic system under stress, the tone of the parasympathetic response decreases, and vice versa. Therefore, the activation of the parasympathetic in chronic stress (which underlies all diseases) by influencing the vagus leads to an improvement in health in many diseases. Using aRLS for 15 to 30 minutes daily for two weeks leads to improvements in depression, sleep quality, and other aspects of quality of life. Learn more...
Transcranial photobiomodulation therapy uses non-ionizing electromagnetic energy to trigger photochemical changes in photon-susceptible cellular structures. Mitochondria, intracellular energy stations, are especially susceptible to this process. They absorb the energy of visible red and near-infrared light and produce cellular energy in the form of the chemical ATP, which triggers biochemical reactions in cells. The key to this whole process is the mitochondrial enzyme cytochrome oxidase C, which accepts photon energy of certain wavelengths. Learn more...
Activation therapy: developed in 1968 - 2002 by scientists of the Rostov Research Institute of Oncology L.Kh. Harkavy, M.A. Ukolova, E.B. Kvakina. They registered the discovery of a previously unknown pattern of periodic development of qualitatively different general nonspecific adaptive reactions of the organism to the action of factors of the external and internal environment.
Activation therapy consists in taking a certain natural remedy or procedure strictly according to an individual algorithm - that is, according to a scheme corresponding to the initial type of human condition - stress, training, calm activation, increased activation, reactivation of one of the levels of the Periodic System of physiological states. As a result, there is a general improvement and training of the body to cope with the violations that arise on its own.
Activation medicine has shown its effectiveness in the treatment of a wide variety of diseases, and such treatment can be called true, because it is produced by the body itself by activating self-healing functions.
Audiovisual brain stimulation – activation of the central nervous system by specific visual and audible signals. These signals affect the brain differently depending on the nature of the sounds transmitted by the headphones and the light signals that are displayed throughout the field of view of the LED mask.
Clinical studies have shown the effectiveness of ABC in the treatment of attention deficit, hyperactivity, depression, anxiety, sleep and blood pressure disorders, cognitive and memory decline in the elderly, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and seasonal affective disorders, as well as pain syndromes, in particular migraines and PMS.
